Instrument Technology, Inc. (ITI) has announced the launch of its new V5LE videoscope which features non--conductive articulating fiberscopes, making it the only true non--conductive device in the industry.
The V5LE is a compact, durable remote viewing system that provides clear, bright images for EOD, IED, and counter measure investigations. The system was designed to the specifications of a major federal agency specifically for Bomb Technicians.
“We have taken all the features and packaged them into a more compact, easier to use design,” said Carl Wiley of ITI.
Utilizing ITI’s patented ProTechT over--torque protection system, the device allows for smooth articulation control and extended probe life. The non--conducting, articulating insertion probe enhances user--safety without compromising utility.
All V5LE model videoscopes have four direction articulation and were developed for the most intensive and sensitive EOD/contraband search scenarios.
The V5LE features an intuitive touch screen menu for digital documentation, capturing video and still images for training and evidence. The system provides infinite depth of field that does not require a focusing tool and features a Frame Rate Control function for enhanced low--light performance.
